Bobar Gamma Ray 2016
A blend of Gamay and Cabernet Franc with no added sulphur. A light but complex wine with savoury fruit and lots of freshness. Notes of watermelon, strawberry, juicy cherry and some earthy stemmy notes. Sadly, this will be the last release of Gamay from Bobar for the time being, so if you're a fan of great varietals made with minimal intervention from independent winemakers we recommend you grab a bottle before it's all gone.
Bobar Petit Verdot 2017
A beautiful and aromatic style of Petit Verdot, similar to the one released by Gentle Folk in 2016. Plush red and black berry fruits, violets, musk, and subtle earthy notes. Lighter than traditional Petit Verdot (which can be big inky affairs) and very lovely to drink.
Be quick, this is the last of this release!
Bobar Royale Chardonnay 2016
A textural, Yarra Valley Chardonnay fermented in a ceramic egg with no added sulphur. Vibrant aromas of citrus fruits and fresh ripe apples. The fermentation process imparts a smooth and finely chalky mouthfeel with a slight oxidative note on the palate alongside classical varietal stone fruits. This is a very well made wine from two of the nicest winemakers around.
