Say no more !!!!!!!!!!!

NEW ON THE SHELF:

Stone Arrogant Crime  American Strong Ale 8.5% 500ml
This beer was crafted for those who adore both pain and pleasure (but mostly pain), those who should know better and those who don't know better. It is the result of what many beer enthusiasts would consider a most egregious crime—sequestering Arrogant Bastard Ale, Double Bastard Ale and oakedArrogant Bastard Ale in Kentucky bourbon barrels, then blending them together with jalapeño, serrano, and other chile peppers. The result is something unsuitable for the faint of heart, mind or palate.

Crime was first concocted in 2010, when Stone CEO Greg Koch decided to ruin a beautiful barrel full of Lucky Bastard Ale by dumping a variety of chile peppers from his backyard garden into the beer. This year’s version is still very hoppy in spite of the barrel aging, with lots of oak and malt. The long finish reveals layers of oak, vanilla, bourbon and malt that synergistically combine to produce complex caramel flavors, with peppers adding pleasant tamarind, subtle tropical flavors and significant heat.

Stone Bastard's Midnight Brunch American Strong Ale 12.7% 2016 500ml
Depth-charged Double Bastard ale aged in bourbon barrels and maple syrup barrels.

Evenings trying to forget the crushing mediocrity of one’s life are typically the main driver to late-night breakfast plates at unforgivingly overlit diners stacked with industrialized, frozen-dumped-in-a-fryer “food.” An interlude between sophomoric late-night antics, questionable decisions and inevitable morning regret. That’s not how I play it. For those who know how to grab life by the horns*, however, this bottle pairs even better with accomplishment, life lived out loud, and well-timed moves that often appear as luck to those not paying attention. A specifically designed midnight brunch feast with like-minded folks who not only have their wits about them but actually have wits, and an artfully prepared feast sets the more appropriate stage for this beer. The bottle is worth a special occasion. Create yours to accompany it. RB  = 99

Stone Locoveza Extra Anejo BA Wild Ale 9.4% 500ml
At first we were super bummed when a bunch of barrels of barrel-aged Xocoveza inexplicably soured. Then we tasted it. Turns out that the souring microflora transported our Bordeaux/tequila barrel-aged mocha stout to crazy new depths. Unmistakable, tart cherry-like flavors marry beautifully with the oak, red wine, peppery spice and agave notes from the barrels and the chocolate, coffee and spice elements of the base beer. We invite you to explore the irrationally delicious result of a barrel-aged beer gone loco.

Stone Xocoveza Charred Imperial Stout 9.6% 500ml
Mocha stout brewed with cocoa, coffee and spices, aged in bourbon barrels.
Time spent in bourbon barrels gave an already complex beer even more richness and flavour intensity, layering additional caramel and vanilla flavours on top.
Aromas of rich coffee and dark chocolate are followed by nutmeg and cinnamon. Lush and heavy mouthfeel with charred oak and toffee hits the palate from the first sip. The beer finishes long with notes of soft oak and pepper.

Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout 4.0 Imperial Stout 13% 2016
From the most unlikely yet intensely imaginative trio that is actor and uber-geek champion Wil Wheaton, alternative news website Fark.com creator Drew Curtis and Stone CEO/Co-founder Greg Koch, comes an imperial stout unlike any ever made. Brewed with rye, wheat malt and pecans and partially aged in Bourbon whiskey barrels, this viscous yet silken brew erupts with an oaky, nutty bouquet and rich flavors of vanilla, toast and bitter chocolate.

2016 release: This barrel-aged palate-saver has been a favorite among our fans—and us—since its inception in 2013. Pecans, wheat, flaked rye and bourbon-soaked barrels provide this whopping, complex superhero version of an imperial stout with a profound complexity that makes it ideal for cellaring—if you can wait that long. Now, we can’t say this beer bestows jedi powers, exactly, but your taste buds may just be fooled into believing as much. A special thanks to Amanda Conner, who illustrated this year's label to support The Hero Initiative.

Stone Locoveza Charred BBA Sour Ale 10% 500ml
The base beer is the recipe of 2014 Stone Homebrew Competition winner Chris Banker, an intensely flavorful milk stout brewed withcocoa, coffee and spices to mimic the flavors of Mexican hot chocolate.

At first we were super bummed when a bunch of barrels of barrel-aged Xocoveza inexplicably soured. Then we tasted it. Turns out that the souring microflora transported our bourbon barrel-aged mocha stout to crazy new depths. The sourness marries magnificently with the toffee-like richness and oak vanillin character from the barrels and the chocolate, coffee and spice flavors of the base beer. We invite you to explore the irrationally delicious result of a barrel-aged beer gone loco.
