Another shipment of Sours & then some great Imperial stouts before the cold weather ends.


Almanac Dogpatch Vanilla Cherry Sour Red/Brown 7.5% 375ml
Vanilla Cherry Dogpatch takes everything you love about our regular Dogpatch Sour and turns it up to 11. We started with our base red sour ale and added a ridiculous amount of Bing, Rainier and Montmorency Cherries to each barrel for a juicy, intense cherry flavor that exudes summer. Then we added in whole Madagascar vanilla beans, building on oak’s natural vanilla flavor. The final blend creates a delicate balance of fruit and oak that keeps you coming back for more. Pair this summer sipper with game bird, fruit sauces and still-warm pie.  RB  =  97

Almanac Lavender Honey de Brettaville 6.5% Sour/Wild Ale 375ml
This golden brett beer captures the flavors of spring. We layered hand-picked lavender grown at Eatwell Farms in Dixon, California and aromatic wildflower honey together with our oak-fermented brettanomyces blonde base beer to create this this funky, floral delight. A hint of minerality provides a complex backdrop of floral spring flavors, and a nose of meyer lemons, aromatic botanicals and bosc pear. Serve with rosemary rack of lamb, ripe Taleggio cheese and roasted pear with vanilla ice cream and honey.  RB  =  95

Almanac Tangerine de Brettaville Sour/Wild Ale 6.5% 375ml
Tangerine de Brettaville celebrates the flavors of citrus in beer. We start by brewing a funky brettanomyces fermented base beer in large oak foeders, where the brett yeast creates farmhouse flavors and aromas. We layer on California-grown tangerines and oranges for big citrus flavors, balancing tropical peel aromas and a hint of citrus bitterness. Finally, we finish the beer with a generous dry hop of Citra, adding one more layer of citrus aroma to create a complex offering. Pair with peking duck, orange chicken or walnut shrimp.  RB   =  96

Almanac Hoppy Sour: El Dorado Sour/Wild Ale 7% 375ml
We blended our sour blonde ale aged in wine barrels with our brettanomyces farmhouse ale fermented in foeders to craft a complex wild ale base. Laced with flavors of stone fruit, oak, and earthy funk it’s the perfect complement the fruity punch of El Dorado Hops. El Dorado contributes aroma of pear, watermelon, and plum. Enjoy this hoppy release fresh for maximum aroma. Pair with fish tacos, seared scallops and grilled stone fruit.  RB  =  92

Anderson Valley Salted Caramel Bourbon Barrel Aged Porter 6% 650ml
Aged for 6 months in Wild Turkey bourbon barrels, our Salted Caramel is woody and slightly sweet with notes of vanilla and coconut. It’s smooth with a medium-light body and mouthfeel and a light banana/fruit aroma. There’s some caramel and peanut brittle flavors but not cloying or overpowering. RB  =  90

Lost Coast Labs: Imperial Stout 10% 650ml
We love to make beer. Lucky for us, there are a bazillion different flavors and types of beer to make. Our Imperial Stout has a rich malty flavor with hints of chocolate, coffee, caramel, burnt sugar and raisins. Moderately hopped to provide balance. Enjoy it while it lasts.
