New Release Sami-Odi Wines

Fraser McKinley originally from Auckland in New Zealand move to Barossa in 2003, work for Torbreck winery, start from zero and start on a side in 2006 this own label with a very limited quantity with one third of a hectare. Just 3 or 4 vine raws. He always been using minimal interventions and organic grape for this wines.

An unvintaged ‘assemblage’ composed of casks from 2012 (11%), 2013 (3%), 2014 (39%) & 2015 (47%).
Exclusively sourced from our plots within the Hoffmann’s ‘Dallwitz’ vineyard from vines planted in 1996, 1995, 1960, 1927 & the oldest vines planted prior to 1912. (24 bottles available)

2014 Sami-Odi ‘XIV’ Syrah  ($102.95-minus 10% off for members)

These 11 Burgundian Pièces were carefully assembled and bottled amidst the spring of 2015 after enduring an 82 week elevage. The bottles were filled without filtration, fining or sparging (the removal of naturally occurring oxygen & C02) and all transfers were completed via gravity prior to bottling.
