Bastille Day Wine and Cheese Tasting

Come and join us to celebrate Bastille Day, or “Fete Nationale” in French. The French National Day is celebrated every year on 14 July. It commemorates the storming of the Bastille in 1789, an important event in Paris in a violent revolution that had begun two days earlier. The beginning of the French Revolution and the first Declaration of the Rights Of Man and of the Citizen were proclaimed the same year.

As part of our own celebrations for Bastille Day we will be hosting a night of wine and spirits, with matching chesses from Stinking Bishops. We will guide you through France to discover or rediscover wines from different appellations, villages and grapes varieties. We will also discuss the best pairings and why sometimes they doesn’t work.

An excellent opportunity to review the classic wines of France!
